LUMITECH for its first time at PLDC
Every two years, the PDLC, at different locations, offers the lighting industry a professional platform to discuss new ideas, concepts and developments and to meet with like-minded people. So this year, in Rome, also approximately 1,500 participants met again. During the three-day symposium around 70 high-profile speakers provided information on the subjects of lighting design, architecture, research, urban planning and daylight design in their lectures.
For its first time LUMITECH was also on site. In a lecture on "Human Centric Lighting" for an expert audience, Professor G. Leising explained the biological effects of light, and presented some already realized projects as exemplary case studies. In addition, participants were able to experience the potential of Human Centric Lighting directly at the LUMITECH stand : A 2.20 m x 2.45 m large biorhythmically backlit wall impressively showed the effect of biorhythmic solutions with PI-LED and NeoLink.
